What are pages?
Pages are additional pages for your website. It’s also how you create and control your site navigation. Some examples of common pages include “About” and “Contact.”

How can I create a new page?
In the site dropdown menu, click on the “Pages” link. This will direct you to an area where you can choose from a variety of page types. To create a new page, click on one of the available page types. If the page type requires you to fill in more info, you will be prompted to do so on a pop-up window.

What are the different page types?
The are six main types of pages.

  • Text - this is one you can create, it behaves similarly to a post
  • RSS Feed - You can pull in titles for your favorite feeds
  • Tag - Easily link to one of your tags
  • Link - Create a link to another site/page
  • Home - Add a link to your homepage
  • Post Types - The rest of the page options create quick links to your post types. For example Videos would link to a page of your videos, Quizzes goes to your quiz posts, and so on.

How do I rearrange the order of my pages?
To rearrange your navigation, simply drag the boxes in your navigation bar right and left.

How do I edit an existing page?
You can edit an existing page by going to the Pages page and clicking the “edit” link on the box you want to edit.

How do I delete a page?
To delete a page, click the “x” on the page box you want to delete. Note, this action cannot be undone.

@Busra - if you click on "Pages" you can make a page that doesn't appear on the homepage. Additionally when you're making a new post, you can uncheck the "Homepage" box and it won't show up on the homepage.

@JordanMorris and @danidaniramirez - pages can't be tagged. However posts can. Click on "Advanced Options" when making a post and you'll be able to tag your post. When you do that, click on the tag in your post. That is the link you'll use. You can use the "Link" box in Pages and plug that link in. Hope that helps!

@shannondeneen - pages are sort of what we use for navigation - posts (click create new post) are where you'll see the different post types. i understand it's a lot of info to take in, so i'm going to have someone send you a PM to explain more. and if you need more assistance just send an email to help@onsugar.com. best of luck!
